Kenya Mission Cultural Safari - Amboseli and Environs


Amboseli National Park, at the foot of Africa's highest mountain Kilimanjaro lays some 250 kms south of Nairobi. The snow capped peak of Kilimanjaro rising above a saucer of clouds, dominates every aspect of Amboseli and forms a backdrop to an impressive display of wildlife. Many species of animals are found here i.e. lion, leopard, buffalo, elephants and other savannah game.

    Day 1: Nairobi

    Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by our representative for briefing and check in at the hotel.

    Day 5: Nairobi - Amboseli

    • 0600HRS: After breakfast, depart Nairobi and drive via the towns of Athol River, Namanga and further left to Amboseli National Park.
    • 0830HRS:  TEAM 1 – EMAILI; TEAM2 – KIMANA
    • 1130HRS: All the teams to assemble at a church at Namelok for opening ceremony.
    • 1500HRS: Check in at Sentrim Camp.
    • 1600HRS: Afternoon game drive. Amboseli forms a backdrop to an impressive display of wildlife with its population Evening game viewing with Mt Kilimanjaro - the highest free Standing Mountain in the world, in the background. Amboseli National park is famous for its highest concentration of elephants, which have been researched on for over 30 years amongst other predators and wild game.
    • 1900HRS: Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sentirm Camp.
    • 2000HRS: Evening service- Revival
    • 2300HRS: Cup of tea / coffee -Back to Sentrim Camp

    Day 6 Amboseli

    • 0600HRS: Early morning game viewing to explore the park further.
    • 0730HRS: Breakfast at the lodge.
    • 0900HRS: Church visits up to for 4pm with packed lunch.
    • 1500HRS: Game drive Enroute
    • 1700HRS: Evening game viewing of this magnificent park. The park takes its name from Lake Amboseli, a seasonal swamp that attracts water birds and other migratory species and is also a quenching oasis for the plain game.
    • 1900HRS: Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sentrim.
    • 2000HRS- 2330HRS: Revival meeting
    • 2330HRS: Bed rest.

    Day 7: Amboseli - Nairobi

    • 0830HRS: Closing conference / feedback/ sharing testimonies from the Masai.
    • 1000HRS: Departure for Nairobi.
    • 1430HRS: Lunch either at Carnivore or any other restaurant.
    • 1600HRS: Transfer to the airport for your international flight
