Tour overview

Overview:

For those with limited time yet an unquenchable desire to witness Africa’s wild heartbeat, our 3-day Masai Mara safari is an unforgettable escape into nature’s grandest theater. The Masai Mara, Kenya’s crown jewel and one of the world’s most celebrated wildlife reserves, promises breathtaking encounters with the Big Five and a dazzling array of Africa’s iconic wildlife, cheetahs, hyenas, serval cats, bat-eared foxes, jackals, hippos, crocodiles, baboons, warthogs, and herds of antelope and zebra roaming the sun-kissed savannahs.

Beyond its renowned predators and plains game, the Mara is famed for the epic wildebeest migration, a stirring natural spectacle each July through September, when millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles surge across the Serengeti into the Mara River, pursued by lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, crocodiles, and soaring vultures. Yet even outside this peak season, the Mara offers world-class game viewing year-round, a place where every glance reveals a story of life in the wild.

Tour Highlights:

  • Game drives in a standard Land Cruiser or van with pop-up roof and radio communication
  • Bird watching amidst the savannah chorus
  • Cultural visit to an authentic Masai village
  • Luxurious accommodations in Mara Sarova Lodge or similar
