Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
Your safari begins at dawn with a warm pick-up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) or your Nairobi hotel. After a briefing by your professional driver-guide, set off for the scenic drive to Amboseli National Park.
Arrive at Ol Tukai Lodge in time for lunch, freshen up, and prepare for your first afternoon game drive. Amboseli is renowned for its enormous herds of elephants, numbering over 1,600, and its iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest peak. As the sun sets, capture magical photographs of wildlife silhouetted against glowing skies.
Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight, surrounded by the sounds of the wild.
Day 2: Full Day in Amboseli National Park
The day is yours to explore Amboseli at your pace.
⦁ Option 1: Enjoy a relaxed morning game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast, unwind by the pool, then head out for another exciting safari in the late afternoon.
⦁ Option 2: Take a full-day game drive with a packed lunch, covering Amboseli’s diverse habitats and maximizing your chances of spotting lions, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, and an incredible variety of birds.

Day 3: Amboseli – Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After breakfast, drive north to the celebrated Ol Pejeta Conservancy, stopping at the equator line in Nanyuki for a fun hemisphere’s demonstration.
Arrive at Sweetwater’s Serena Camp in time for lunch before setting off on an afternoon game drive. Ol Pejeta is home to the world’s only two remaining northern white rhinos, East Africa’s largest black rhino sanctuary, and the unique Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Spot the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino—before returning to camp for dinner accompanied by soothing cultural music.
Day 4: Ol Pejeta – Samburu Game Reserve
After breakfast, journey north to the Samburu Game Reserve, arriving at Ashnil Samburu Camp for lunch.
Later, head out on an afternoon game drive in search of Samburu’s Special Five—the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and the long-necked gerenuk. Samburu is also home to nearly 900 elephants and all three big cats: lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Along the way, you may encounter the rich culture of the Samburu and Maasai people.
Return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Full Day in Samburu Game Reserve
Today, choose your adventure:
⦁ Option 1: Begin with a sunrise game drive, return for breakfast, then relax before another mid-morning and afternoon safari.
⦁ Option 2: Set out with a packed lunch for a full-day game drive, immersing yourself in the wild beauty of Samburu from dawn till dusk.

Day 6: Samburu – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, with a scenic stop at Thomson’s Falls, a stunning 74-meter waterfall near Nyahururu.
Arrive at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge for lunch, then head out on an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is a sanctuary for endangered species, including black and white rhinos and the Rothschild’s giraffe, as well as countless flamingos that transform the lake into a pink spectacle. Don’t miss the beautiful Makalia Waterfall.

Day 7: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve
After a morning game drive, continue to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving at Mara Serena Lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in the Mara—Kenya’s most iconic safari destination, home to an abundance of wildlife and Africa’s highest concentration of big cats. From July to October, witness the Great Wildebeest Migration, one of the “Seven New Wonders of the World.”

Day 8: Full Day in the Masai Mara
Today offers endless opportunities to explore the Mara:
⦁ Option 1: Spend a full day game drive with a packed lunch, searching for the Big Five and other wildlife.
⦁ Option 2: Enjoy a morning and afternoon game drive with leisure time in between.
⦁ Option 3: opt for an unforgettable hot air balloon safari (extra cost), floating above the savannah at sunrise before landing for a champagne breakfast in the bush.
You may also visit a Masai village to experience traditional culture firsthand.

Day 9: Masai Mara – Nairobi
Enjoy a final morning game drive before breakfast. Bid farewell to the Mara as you journey back to Nairobi.
En route, stop at Lake Naivasha for a hippo boat ride and optional walking safari. Depending on your flight schedule, you may also visit Nairobi’s top attractions such as the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, the Giraffe Centre, or the Maasai Market.
