9-Day Kenya Family Safari
-
Your Kenya Family Safari begins the moment you touch down at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Our friendly team will whisk you away to a quiet hotel, avoiding the city’s hustle. We keep Day 1 intentionally light—perfect for shaking off jet lag by the pool or enjoying an early family dinner.
-
The drive to the Mara is an adventure in itself, descending the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. Once you arrive, the “real” safari begins. We use private 4×4 vehicles so you can control the pace; if the kids are tired after two hours of spotting lions, we head back for a swim!
-
Education: Guides use “wildlife bingo” and fun facts to keep children engaged.
-
Culture: On Day 4, visit a Maasai village. It’s an eye-opening experience for children to see how their Kenyan peers live, play, and care for livestock.
-
-
After the vastness of the Mara, Naivasha offers a refreshing change of pace. We trade the vehicle for a boat and a pair of walking shoes.
-
Next, we head north to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. This private sanctuary is famous for its high density of wildlife and its unique inhabitants.
-
Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary: Meet chimps rescued from the black market and learn about primate behavior.
-
Rhino Protection: Ol Pejeta is home to the last two Northern White Rhinos on Earth. It’s a powerful lesson in environmental stewardship that stays with children long after they leave.
-
-
On Day 8, we enjoy a final scenic drive back to the capital. Use the afternoon for last-minute souvenir shopping at a local market or a farewell dinner to celebrate the memories made.
-
ay 9, we transfer you to the airport, marking the end of your epic Kenya Family Safari.
